A Brief Introduction
The Archives have gone through quite a few revisions from its original form, and probably will go through several more as time goes by. The goal here is to let our AF Members know their history, and have it written down somewhere for future reference. Not everything is listed down, and it is told from an AF point of view, but it should offer a glimpse of some more Arcadian History that you may not have known previously.
The AF Republic Archives are structured differently from the other sections of the Archives as it is focused less on the Important Events going on as it is about the actions & events going on around specific leaders & the AF tag. For a basic background, those wearing the AF Tag had a government independent of that of AF Council. There was a Director, an AF Leader put in charge of the alliance for one month, a Speaker of Senate, an AF Officer put in charge of the officers for one month, and an AF Chancellor, put in charge of alliance diplomacy for three months. For a more in-depth view of the system see the pictures below.

21| Reign of Director Travone
Chancellor #1: [AF2] Tony Mai: November 9, 2015 to December 21, 2015
Director #1: [AF3] Travone01: November 9, 2015 to December 21, 2015
Speaker of Senate #1 & #2: [AF2] Huyt: November 9, 2015 to December 21, 2015
When leaving Sector 1300 to form the AF tags, one alliance left the sector with ARC & ABYSS: KoV. They were a small alliance who had been ran out of 1400 by Wrath, and vigorously opposed them. As such, they moved into 1300 which mainly fought 1400, and formed close allied relations with AF. When 1300 became unstable with VBRP forming and killing any alliance in the sector, especially those that did not oppose AF, KoV was offered to join Arcadian forces in Sector 5200.
Shortly afterwards, they asked to join AF, were accepted into AF Council, & took the tag of AF8. A week or two after KoV joined the Arcadia Federation, word came that ARC's old ally, ECHO, had collapsed. Believing that it would be a good opportunity to recruit whatever members remained, ARC sent someone out to talk to the remaining ECHO. They managed to meet MuadDib who was leading ECHO2 and gathering what was left of main ECHO under his and his co-leader, Azmaudeus,'s leadership. After discussions, Muad agreed to merge into AF as AF13, however they did not join the AF Coalition as by this stage the relationship with TUFOP was beginning to deteriorate.
On November 9, 2015, those with the AF tag created their own government that would coincide with that of the AF Council. Travone was elected as the first director, and Huyt as the first Speaker of Senate. It was during this time that DRKSL joined and the Wrath Extermination Plan went into effect, both of which are explained in-depth in the AF Coalition Archives.

22| Reign of Emperor Mai
Chancellor #2: [AF3] Lumpy: December 21, 2015 to March 21, 2016
Director #2: [AF2] Tony Mai A.K.A. Emperor Mai: December 21, 2015 to January 21, 2016
Speaker of Senate #3: [AF2] Huyt: December 21 to January 21, 2016
Tony became the 2nd Director of AF on December 21, 2015 following the end to his role as Chancellor for AF Council. Early into it, AF got involved in a war to assist EDC largely at his request and as mentioned in the AF Coalition Archives came out highly successful as they became closer to EDC as an ally, and grew significantly in medals. Unfortunately, DRKSL left early into his term to merge into LONE, something which was partially sparked by AF being far smaller and unable to assist DRKSL as much as they had hoped for; a fact which was for the most part true
During his term two major Senate Resolutions were passed. The first was the creation of a Mandatory War Draft which required all members to be forced to relocate should a majority vote be passed by AF Senate; should someone fail to jump they would be kicked. This was largely in response to a growing number of players who had stopped jumping, would jump randomly, or hadn’t jumped at all (*cough* Milo). The second was a non-binding resolution which asked for AF players to wear an Official AF Logo as their profile picture in the game. The hope was as AF became more involved in large conflicts, by having a singular profile picture they could make it clear that they were organized, committed, and all part of AF; a tactic used by most higher ranked alliances.
In addition to that AF became official allies with EDC, something which was orchestrated by Chancellor Lumpy but had started during Tony’s role as chancellor previously. This came in handy when AF got into a costly war with OAS1S, and EDC was asked to help. They quickly moved to do so and truthfully saved AF from being absolutely crushed in conflict. The incident strengthened AF’s members resolve to EDC which would come in handy during Lord Az’s reign.
The massive effort that went into transforming AF into a larger alliance ranked wise, and capable of fighting at the largest scale in Vega, came at its own costs as well. On the final day of Tony’s term as Director, AF8 quit AF in a silent matter. One of their officers remarked of the event that “we had been told a specific time to relocate from AF, had been under orders not to chat in group chat or on LINE in case someone clicked our name and noticed we had jumped, and made sure not to leave the AF LINE chats until AF noticed we had left them. That way we wouldn’t have to fear any attacks from AF in retaliation over leaving.” AF8 would later admit that they had left over the “increasingly intense methods AF was using to become more involved in Vega when AF8 preferred to take things easy instead.” Much of AF Leadership simultaneously slammed AF8 for not expressing their views (no post or comment in AF Senate or Leadership), running for a government role to alter things themselves (in 6 elections not a single player attempted), and choosing to drop tag in such a manner fearing an attack that never would have come.

23| Reign of Popeye Khan
Chancellor #2: [AF3] Lumpy: December 21, 2015 to March 21, 2016
Director #3: [AF2] Popeye A.K.A. Popeye Khan: January 21, 2016 to February 21, 2016
Speaker of Senate #4: [AF2] Nizar: January 21, 2016 to February 21, 2016
Popeye was elected AF Director on January 21, 2015 immediately following AF8 leaving, meaning that he had to deal with most of the aftermath. Just weeks earlier AF had disbanded the coalition requiring alliances to take the AF tag under the assumption that it would be extremely difficult to leave wearing one, yet now AF8 had done it causing a mass wave of panic in most AF chatrooms. One of the major ways Popeye handled this was by bringing discussions which had always been handled solely by AF Council / Leadership into the AF Senate. This allowed Officers to be heavily involved in how to handle the scenario and bring up a wide variety of opinions that would be the will of not just a few of leadership but all the remaining officers as well.
One of the first proposals to be brought up because of this was disbanding all individual AF alliances to create an Elite AF1, with the rest moved to AF2 or AF3. For the most part, almost all of AF Leadership was against the idea believing that such a thing wouldn’t be beneficial and would instead isolate weaker players and create an elitist mentality among AF members. The idea was voted down becoming the foundation of refusing it the many times it popped up in the future by different AF members or officers. What was done however was a rotation of AF2/AF3/AF13 members to create a stronger bond between the alliances.
Other changes were passed which redistributed the way the AF Senate worked making it far easier for alliances such as AF13 to handle the system and not feel bogged down the way AF8 had. For the most part only one war occurred during Popeye’s rule (discussed in Policy of Chancellor Lumpy), but a massive mobilization for another began as it ended. On February 11, 2016 AF did its first Mandatory War Jump into Sector 13K. AF’s major ally at this point, EDC, had broken ties with ICU and the two intended to have a massive showdown in the sector.
Across Vega Conflict, almost every alliance in the Top 100 was picking a side: EDC or ICU. Dozens of alliances began to mobilize for both sides and before the war had even started Sector 13300 & 13100 were almost entirely filled with pro-EDC forces. In addition, VBRP had come to AF with a request: A ceasefire between the two alliances to fight ICU during the war. Lumpy, overseeing diplomacy at the time, accepted believing that having coiners after AF, even if they despised each other, would not have been beneficial to AF’s future especially at the time of such a fight.
It was on February 20, 2016, the day before Popeye’s rule ended that ICU and their forces began to relocate into the southern and left sectors of 13300, and most of 13400, to start the war. With absolutely no exaggeration, there were hundreds upon hundreds of alliances on each side. The largest war in Vega Conflict History had begun.

24| Policy of Chancellor Lumpy (M3X War)
Chancellor #2: [AF3] Lumpy: December 21, 2015 to March 21, 2016
HA, you thought I was going to let you skip straight into the war after that cliff hanger? No, I think I’ll leave you in suspense for a bit and instead dedicate an entire section for AF’s 2nd Chancellor Lumpy. After taking Chancellor on December 21, 2015 Lumpy was in the highest-ranking position in AF. Directors of course led the alliance but actual alliance policy on what was done was handled by the Chancellor, and in this Lumpy excelled in creating new alliances.
During his time AF attempted peace in the 13K war with VBRP (Spoiler: Didn’t turn out so well), made an alliance with GOFA, M1TH, & FML, and strengthened existing ties with EDC. In doing so he brought AF to the large-scale stage of alliance fighting for Vega Conflict and AF became a recognizable, and sometimes respectable, alliance to most of the Top 100 despite not even being one. Most of the Pro-EDC forces in the 13K war treated, and still do treat, AF not as a weak alliance that would be crushed by them (which we would), but as an equal entity. This large chain of alliances helped set the stage for much of AF’s future relations with alliances, and prevented most of the Top 100 from outright killing AF like they would any other alliance this size.
One event of worthwhile mention was assisting FML in Sector 12300 against an alliance known as M3X. FML was an alliance Lumpy had met on a random relocation (he often did these to find potential new AF alliances), and was fighting a war with M3X. When they requested assistance, AF got involved and despite M3X being a Rank 80 alliance at the time, they were absolutely crushed. They were losing so badly to AF and getting stripped of so many medals that when attacking back they were forced to base hold the people online to prevent fleets from defending; and as such had several members banned for base holding. It is a rather happy note of AF dominance that occurred right before AF entered the war in 13K.

25| Reign of Lord Az
Chancellor #2: [AF3] Lumpy: December 21, 2015 to March 21, 2016
Director #4: [AF13] Azmaudeus A.K.A. Lord Az: February 21, 2016 to March 21, 2016
Speaker of Senate #5: [AF2] King Zeus: February 21, 2016 to March 21, 2016
Azmaudeus took charge as director at the start of the 13K War. The fight itself was massive and nonstop as the two forces clashed in FvF. One major issue at the start was several IVC alliances, around half (IF & 5 Stars the largest of the two), turned on ELU and assisted ICU giving their forces a massive boost. The 2nd day of the war though saw a major shift for AF as VBRP bases jumped into their planet and began to coin AF fleets and bases to death from the inside. Despite asking for a ceasefire, VBRP had swapped sides at the start of the war to the aid of ICU (most notably after their leader had reported talks with ICU’s), and as such broke the deal and focused all their efforts on AF yet again.
Much like previously, AF had a difficult time handling limitless coiners, but they could keep them in shields often enough that they would often purchase bubbles while sleeping to keep their medals. Outside of AF’s sphere as the days passed not much changed in terms of the direction of the war. Both sides were keeping portions of the enemy in constant shields mattering on what time it was (ICU’s forces were more dominant during NA/SA Hours, EDC’s during Asia/Oceania time zones). Ultimately ICU’s forces ported out first, VBRP left around the same time admitting to spending a combined $1600 (160,000 COINS) to base AF. Also, throughout the conflict AF’s Senate passed its 6th and 7th Resolution preventing any ex-AF member from rejoining without an AF Senate Majority (In retaliation over VBRP), and one allowing Farming Fleets to be targeted in war.
One other event that occurred during the end of Az’s term was the first AF1 war jump since the prior year. Lumpy was to lead them to the home sector of a coalition called TDR which had assisted ICU during the war. AF1 went with the alliances which helped EDC, who wanted to crush ICU’s allies expecting ICU to never come to their aid (which they did not). It also happened to be the coalition that Wrath was in, which AF specifically targeted. By the time the operation came to a halt, TDR was struggling to keep together, and slowly shattered as they lost control of their home sector.

Lumpy became Director following the end of his term as Chancellor, meanwhile Tony became AF's 3rd chancellor. For the most part, Lumpy’s term, which was incomplete, was a disaster from start to finish - however I would credit this more to bad luck than him doing a poor job. It would not have mattered who was the Director at the time: it simply was the wrong time to have the position. Unfortunately, I must also add that this will be split in two parts due to simply how much happened during Lumpy’s term.

It would not have mattered who was the Director at the time: it simply was the wrong time to have the position. Unfortunately, I must also add that this will be split in two parts due to simply how much happened during Lumpy’s term.
Part 1: The VBRP Crisis
The 2nd day of Lumpy’s term VBRP once again pursued AF in Sector 5200 where AF had been fighting multiple IF alliances (with significant success as well). Borg Collective had quit the game and Darko had become leader of the VBRP claiming he wanted to normalize relations with AF, the catch? He jumped into 5200, attacked the very person in AF in charge of diplomacy (being Tony Mai), then asked if they could have peace. Lumpy was against the idea instantly, but Tony being active Chancellor in charge of diplomacy and completely sick of VBRP, much like all of AF by this stage, saw it as an opportunity. Going to AF’s officers, he had a public message drafted and sent to VBRP which stated pretty much that all of AF’s officers condemned VBRP for their actions and would not relent simply because VBRP wanted to, they instead needed to prove that they were serious about any ceasefire agreement.
No attacks occurred initially, and when relocations came up AF jumped to 1300 before any could occur - only VBRP followed, with their coalition FYC. They sent a message back saying that they would not attack AF unless attacked first. To be honest, most of AF including Lumpy himself wanted to directly assault VBRP as a message they would not be intimidated or believe in their lies, however Tony once again disagreed with Lumpy in what was a truthful contest between the two, with both believing they had the right to veto the other. In the end, Tony’s strategy won in which he claimed he would take full responsibility if it did not work; in essence, resign.

In the end, Tony’s strategy won in which he claimed he would take full responsibility if it did not work; in essence, resign.
AF had struggled with VBRP poaching ever since VBRP was created, and had lost dozens of players, including two officers, to the alliance. Because VBRP had several ex-AF players, and was founded in part by those players, there was an allure, or at least sympathy, to several players in AF who had ties to those who had left. What Tony hoped to do was remove the threat of VBRP poaching an AF member ever again, to remove so much as the worry of it happening. VBRP had come to AF with a peace treaty saying they would not attack, nobody in AF believed them (rightfully so), but what Tony hoped to do was not only abide by the treaty, but give all credit for it to VBRP, publicly and often. If VBRP abided by it then AF would have ended the conflict, only VBRP would be given all the credit for it which could be disastrous for AF in the long-term. On the other hand, if VBRP was given all the credit for it in-game, on AF’s website, or on LINE, written down and archived, and should they break it? Any possibility of trusting VBRP, any possibility of them getting to someone to poach them, any possibility of any future interaction, any potential drama with them, uncertainty, bashing on AF, it would not matter what - would be completely removed from the picture permanently. Their reputation would be destroyed beyond repair to all members of AF so long as their current leadership remained.
It was a dangerous risk for AF to take, one of the reasons that Lumpy opposed it so heavily in case it failed, but it was one that Tony was willing to take and bet his future in AF leadership on. In the end, on March 30, 2016, around 2 days after the deal had been offered: VBRP not only broke the ceasefire, but they did so in a manner unbelievably perfect for the plan. They and FYC raided AF, at the start of a Major Event (Heretic Cruiser), without provocation, and so soon after making the deal that it became evident they never even intended to make peace at all; only bait AF into a false sense of security for one. More than that, several VBRP members, which AF got screenshots of, admitted on sector chat that “there was never a plan for peace in the first place.” Sure enough, anyone who had an ounce of sympathy for VBRP was calling them traitors & liars, any VBRP attempts in sector chat to lie their way to discredit AF Leadership was shut down (especially since AF Leadership had made an important point to screenshot the entire proceedings). AF as usual relocated away from VBRP, they did not follow, and 9 months since that day and counting, AF has not had a single encounter, nor lost another member to direct VBRP poaching.
AF leadership had, despite countless attempts, never been able to fully discredit VBRP simply to being on the exact opposite side of them. However, by openly embracing VBRP, and by fully intending to participate as equal partners, in essence taking the upper ground despite their rough past, AF leadership could do something else. Knowing the type of people VBRP were, they could put them on the spotlight and let their own hubris and deception destroy themselves instead. It was a risk had VBRP been genuine, but believing they were not based on past encounters, it was one that paid off.
Part 2: The AF7 Disaster
Lumpy’s core principle as Chancellor was to grow AF as a body, and to increase its allies. When he got Director immediately after his role as Chancellor, he extended upon those policies as a Director instead (something which he was perfectly allowed to do and a shortcoming with the AF Republic System which in hindsight should not have existed). One action he took immediately, almost simultaneously as the VBRP crisis, was the introduction of STYXS (prev. EDC-E) into the Arcadia Federation.
Although at first there were not many problems with this, after the VBRP crisis ended, AF7 began to push forward their own agenda: control over AF. Their leader Nerdy had previously been the co-leader of TUFOP, as mentioned in the section about DRKSL Joining AF & TUFOP Disbanding. As such, Tony was wary of Nerdy over his history, especially as Nerdy had admitted to simply using EDC-E to build his own forces, not really listening to what EDC’s leadership did. This led to conflict as Nerdy tried to bypass AF’s system for his own purposes as he had done previously with alliances, only to clash with Tony head-on. Lumpy for the most part did nothing about this, if not support AF7 in several instances.
One major event, purely by chance, that changed the entire scenario was a leak that came out of AF7 where screenshots were taken of Nerdy & Perses (Nerdy’s co-leader) outright admitting to trying to bring down AF’s government. It was unconditional proof that they had been intentionally creating disturbances in AF’s leadership chats to try and bring down the system from the inside, and build a new one on top. One which they later proposed which would put a single person unconditionally in charge over every AF alliance without any boundaries to stop them: An absolute dictatorship.

The screenshots changed everything for AF Leadership. What was originally perceived as a growing power struggle between Tony and Nerdy became a struggle for the independence of the AF alliances. Laws were edited and changed making them harder to destroy or override, and various AF Leaders and Officers began to join in on stopping AF7’s attempts of delegitimizing AF Senate & AF Leadership. AF2 had Huyt replace Popeye as a leadership representative to better oppose AF7 in the leadership chats. One problem though in preventing AF7 however, was Lumpy himself who openly opposed any attempt of isolating or going against AF7.
Even after being shown the screenshots of what AF7 planned to do, his only response was “This chat should not even exist, they are an AF alliance whether you all like it or not.” It was not that Lumpy was necessarily against the rest of AF Leadership, nor did he wish to see AF fall, but Lumpy had been Chancellor for months prior and the job was filled with Vega Politics. Lumpy wanted a more aggressive AF which would fight more and do politicking less. The current way AF was set up meant that to get almost anything done you had to go through others, it was a fair method but a tiresome one for passing your own agenda. AF7 in this regard was perfect as not only were they aggressive, but they were Lumpy’s golden achievement as a Chancellor and Director, removing them meant all that work went almost to waste.
However, as the conflict between AF7 and the traditional AF Leadership began to grow in scale, so did Lumpy’s infuriation with the situation. AF7 had removed any traditional AF from their own chatrooms and had their members leave the main AF chatrooms. In-game and off-game their members began to conflict as it became more obvious that a power struggle was occurring. Meanwhile, as AF7 became more bold, and Lumpy continuously refused to agree on a vote to remove them from AF, secret talks began to occur to see if it was possible to impeach him as a Director.
Although it was required to have a unanimous vote from all parties involved to remove an alliance from AF, you only needed a 75% majority of the Senate to remove a Director from power, meaning that almost every senator & leader but AF7 would have to vote yes - and it looked possible. Things were quickly spiraling out of control and both leaders and officers seemed ready to part ways with AF7: the acquisition hadn’t worked. However, before an official vote was ever called, Lumpy quit over the continued arguing between the two sides. The runner-up in the director election to replace him? Tony Mai.

27| 2nd Reign of Emperor Mai
Chancellor #3: [AF2] Tony Mai: March 21, 2016 to May 27, 2016
Director #6: [AF2] Tony Mai A.K.A. Emperor Mai: April 10, 2016 to April 21, 2016
Speaker of Senate #6: [AF3] Doukara: March 21, 2016 to April 21, 2016
With Tony in charge of Director & Chancellor at the same time, all aspects of AF government fell under his control. It was something which was allowed, but believed that it would never occur as you’d need to win both elections to do so - or inherit it when the previous director quits as it would turn out. Regardless, with Tony in control of the Director position AF7 knew that they would quickly be cracked down upon. As such they gave AF Leadership an ultimatum “Will you let us take charge of this alliance or not.” The response they got back was not only a “no” but a “you are removed from the Arcadia Federation from this point on.” All AF7 remaining in chatrooms were removed, group chats were changed, and the two groups went their separate ways in a rough transition.
One of the major problems that AF Leadership had was in re-obtaining the AF7 tag which Nerdy refused to hand over. This ultimately broke down in AF’s allied chat as AF7 flat out lied about the situation when confronted pissing off both AF leaders online (Tony Mai & Jeclough). To put it politely, severe words were exchanged on both sides before AF removed them from chats for “Failing to act with the maturity of a 5-year-old child.” AF did in the end manage to re-obtain the tag through sources which will not be listed. This brought to end the AF7 crisis, but the damage that they inflicted on the system was done.
This lead to early discussions of what to change to make AF more secure, but the question itself laid more in what AF should do in its future. Most certainly AF7 had taught an important lesson to Arcadia. Previously, the thought was if an addition didn’t work out then it wouldn’t matter as we could just remove them, but that was far from the reality of the situation. One of the things that AF did do first was implement two new systems designed to improve AF’s combat ability, and a new recruiting alliance.
First was AF Senate Resolution #9 which implemented an AF Aide Program designed to keep data on AF in terms of LINE, website access, base progression, potential relations to other AF members, and geographical locations (a system which still exists today). It also put forward a team in charge of enforcing the system and ensuring all AF members had the capabilities to better defend themselves, unfortunately this was only carried out by AF2. Secondly, a VegaMail system was set up to put officers in charge of sending important messages to a set group of players allowing for fast communication across all AF immediately upon login should it be necessary. Once again, something that which although originally was attempted by AF3, was never maintained. Finally, AF created the AFR alliance designed on relocating from place to place, with no limitation on insecting, and recruit Lv30+ players to join AF with loose regulations.

28| Reign of Pacemaker Huyt
Chancellor #3: [AF2] Tony Mai: March 21, 2016 to May 27, 2016
Director #7: [AF2] Huyt A.K.A. Pacemaker Huyt: April 21, 2016 to May 21, 2016
Speaker of Senate #7: [AF2] SpaceCakes: April 21, 2016 to May 21, 2016
Pacemaker Huyt won the vote for Director on April 21, 2016 in the first public election of a Director. Previously directors had all been chosen by leadership, but before AF7 had even joined it had been agreed that the next director would be chosen directly by AF membership. The title itself of “Pacemaker” is a result of a typo Huyt had when being asked what title he would have. Where he meant to type “peacemaker,” as a way of him bringing peace to AF, he instead typed "pacemaker" and the title stood with him permanently. Huyt was a more aggressive AF Director than most before him had been, Lumpy included.
It was part of a growing trend that was primarily the result of AF’s greater involvement in massive wars, growth as an alliance in general, and the incidents involving VBRP & AF7. What differed Huyt from Lumpy however was that although Huyt wished to push for a more aggressive AF Policy, he also wished to respect some of AF’s more traditional policies and instead better train Arcadia Federation members. To this end, during his term as director he would often make “fake wars” for combat experience and would host live chats on LINE with AF members to try and give them advice on how to better pilot. However, the greatest legacy of Huyt’s reign as Director isn’t what he did publicly, but what he was arranging privately.
After the incident with AF7, most in AF were wondering how they could reform the system to prevent any similar instances, and it was indeed a core part of Tony’s brief 11-day term. Huyt however believed that AF, instead of trying to repair its government, should design a new one in which AF could start from scratch rather than trying to “band-aid” existing problems. He invited all of AF Leadership to a chat proposing this, and it was later expanded upon with several AF senators and longtime AF members both for and against the current AF Republic. The goal was to create a new system without the flaws of the current one of course, but one which could have the flexibility to adapt where the AF Republic system did not.
What ended up happening was 16 days of debate between 12 AF members on every single aspect that would be put into the new AF government. Nothing short of perfection would be accepted as everything overlooked was a flaw which could cost AF down the road. By the end of the discussions a total of 48 Voting Posts had been made on how to create the new government. This meant that the AF involved in drafint it were going through three new agendas every single day. It was extensive and tiring, but when completed, AF had drafted a brand-new government. It was agreed that it would be implemented on May 27, 2016… the one year anniversary of the Arcadia Federation.

Director #8: [AF2] Nizar A.K.A. Maestro Nizar: May 21, 2016 to May 27, 2016
Speaker of Senate #8: [AF2] Mikeemt: May 21, 2016 to May 27, 2016
Maestro Nizar was aware of the government changes before they hit and knew he would have only a six-day term. Regardless, he ran to be the final director of AF, and gave the announcement of the new AF government once he won the election. As such, really nothing happened during his term as everyone was readying for a transition to the new government. One thing that everyone knew would change though was the way AF was structured.
The transition to the new government changed one major aspect that AF had strongly defended even in the face of AF7: it was the end of the Republic. Although AF’s new government would still be democratic in a sense, it was also heavily authoritarian in another, thus the coined term of an “authoritarian democracy.” AF would have a permanent leader surrounded by a group of permanent, handpicked, and elected advisors capable of vetoing and impeaching him/her should it be needed. The Supreme Leader, as the title would be called, would serve permanently, not on a term limit, unless stepping down or being impeached by the other advisors. Should such a thing occur, a new one would be voted in via the advisors to lead.
On May 24, 2016, the final resolution to pass AF Senate barred Tony Mai from posting any charts or graphs until the introduction of the new government. It shocked him so much that he passed out on the spot after failing to stop the bill from passing; no not really. It was the end of the Era of an AF Republic, and the rise of a new one under a new leadership with a new direction.
