Arcadia Federation Recruitment Tips
For starters, if you are in AFⓇ or AFⒺ then welcome to the Arcadia Federation, you are quite literally the future of our alliance! This page is built for you, with luck it should provide you with information about the game, the most frequently asked questions, what you need to promote, and how to better navigate the website with your limited access.
How to Promote
- You must have spent two weeks in AF Recruitment or AF Enlistment at a minimum.
- You must be Level 30+
- You must have over 75 Medals, but the more the better.
- No Stealing, Comm-Warrioring, and must listen to leadership!!!
- AFⓇ & AFⒺ is able to attack anyone who is red, out of sector or insector, so long as they are not in a Rank 200+ Alliance (Unless otherwise instructed). Please make sure that the alliance you are hitting is not a sub-branch to another, the easiest way to check this is to look around on their planet, ask an officer, or see if it has a 2 / 3 / 4 + by its name. Keep in mind this is not foolproof, for instance: AF does not use this number logic, but we'll understand if you screw up in that scenario.
You also will have a time limit to meet all of the requirements but we are flexible if you are active and talkative. You should always be talking to officers and Main AF in planet chat if you can, the more active you appear the more your name comes up, and the better you'll be off. The limits are simply there to ensure that people who won't be able to handle Main AF don't get through.
- Players who join Below Level 20 will have 12 Weeks (3 Months) to meet all requirements.
- Players who join Between Level 20 - 30 will have 10 Weeks (2.5 Months) to meet all requirements.
- Players who join After Level 30 will have 4 Weeks (1 Month) to meet all requirements.
What Sections of the Website can I Access?
AFⓇ & AFⒺ actually has sections to almost the entire website. You can access anything listed under HOME, everything but the Data Archives in the ABOUT AF Section, all of the Ship Builds up until Tier 3, and all of the Farming Builds. You cannot however access the Level 40 Decoys until you are in Main AF. For bases you can see everything but the Bridge Builds for Bridge 5+, and you are unrestricted on anything in HELP & MEDIA.
FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
How do I level up faster?
- You level up by upgrading base modules, getting new blueprints, and equipping technology to pre-existing modules. If you want to level up faster than upgrade your buildings & put technology on them. The higher the level, the higher the EXP.
- If you see blue text then someone is Private Messaging you. Often this will be another AF member or an Officer, but if it is someone outside of AF that you don't know it is probably best to inform an AF Officer online so we can look into it. In order to PM yourself you will want to type the command: /pm (Player ID) Message Here. As an example, you'd do /pm 23064 How are you doing, and the message that would appear would be a blue "How are you doing" that only the person you sent it to can see.
- On the top right of your chatbar should be a mail icon, in order to see messages you simply need to open it and it will display all messages available. In order to mark a message as read simply read it, often times are officers will use this as a way of communication, especially in Main AF where we'll often send weekly messages to members you are required to read! In order to close a message simply hit the X button on top right of the screen or the back arrow on the top left, not the red person as that will ignore the player and you will instantly piss them off if they're an officer!
- In order to open a message yourself click on a player's name in chat, or click on their base, and a player profile should come up. Simply open a conversation with them from there.
How do I mute a player?
- Next to every person's name in chat will be a box, simply click the box and an X will form meaning you have muted a player. Additionally, you can click on their Player Profile and click "IGNORE" to ignore them as well.
- Simply type /list in the chatbar and it will show you all the players you've muted. If you've muted over 10 you'll have to type /next to keep scrolling through names. To unmute a player simply unmark the checkbox next to their name.
How do I join & leave a Group Chat?
- This isn't very important in AFⓇ but is essential to know before you join Main AF where you will be REQUIRED to join one. To join a group chat simply type /join (Group Name). This will be case-sensitive. For an example, you'd type: /join AFisAwesome to join that group.
- Additionally, to leave a group chat, simply type /leave and you'll be gone. Often you will see the chat say "So and So has joined the chat," "So and So has left the chat." Most often when people are leaving and joining the chat they are logging on or logging off so don't worry about it.
- We'll often rotate group chats for one reason or another, in order to know when we've moved to a new one you can see on LINE, through VegaMail, Message of the Day in-game, the Notice Board, fellow players, or simply see that the chat has emptied of people. It's actually quite easy to tell.
- Relocations are often told by AF Officers through VegaMail, PM, Alliance Chat, or LINE in both Main AF and AFⓇ. If you are late on a relocation the possibility exists that you will be left behind and it will be on you! Players are expected to relocate within 24hrs of the order being given!
- In order to relocate you will need to go to your own player profile (by selecting the image in the top left corner), clicking relocate, then Select Ally, click a player name in the sector you need to relocate to, click confirm once you have one selected, and then hit "FREE RELOCATE." You will only be able to do this once a week so don't waste it because you don't like where your base is in the planet! AF will relocate as an alliance every 1 - 3 weeks so you need to always have the button available and jump when you're supposed to. Additionally, see the image below created by AF Brownie on how to do it.
How do I join an alliance?
- A more common question than you'd think. Often times when leaving to join Main AF an officer will leave you an invite, but occasionally you may have to request one. There are three methods that you can do:
1. Go to the Alliance Board, click Invitations, and accept an already pending invite to the AF Alliance you are to go to.
2. Go to the Alliance Board, click Join, select Tag, type in the alliance tag you are requesting to, then select "Request Invite."
3. Select a Player Base, click View Alliance, and click "Request to Join."
- Simply go to the Alliance Board and click Leave.
What is LINE?
- LINE is an offline chat application available for PCs & mobile devices that AF uses to chat or send important messages to people. By no means is it required.
- To get LINE simply click HERE for the download for PC and Mobile. Additional on Mobile you can go to the App Store and just search up LINE: Chat & Call and download it that way.
- In order to join the AF Chats make sure you have a username set up so you can be added. A tutorial on how to do so will be provided below for both Mobile & PC. Once you have a username, tell an officer in-game and they can add you to AF chatrooms. Do not add an officer on LINE and ask to join from there unless previously prompted to! If you do we will have to go through the effort of making sure it is really you in-game!
Hopefully that clears up any questions or concerns you may have had. If you have any additional ones you think we should add then let an AFⓇ or AFⒺ Officer know and we'll look into it! Welcome to the Team!
