EVENT DIFFICULTY (Official Kixeye Statement)
- Catchup event designed for players Level 15 - 35.
- Prizes are more accessible, older content that will help weak players progress.
What Is It?
RIOTs are bi-monthly events which offer pre-existing tech to players. Calendars of the Event Schedule are posted in the Vega Conflict Forums in General Discussion which can be accessed HERE. They can range between three to four days long mattering on how they fit into the Event Schedule.
Prizes
RIOTs give you pre-existing technology. This means that all of the prizes and ships have already been offered in a Feature Event, but that isn't an excuse to not do them! RIOT prizes are still extremely useful to have and will often form the core of your builds rather than the newest technology which is more specialized. During RIOTs the Prize Scale is generally as follows:
Upon reaching enough points for a Tier, players will have to pick between two different prize choices up until the 4th Tier where there is only one ship. Keep in mind that the prizes are generally related to the ship being offered! Additionally, all leftover points can be redeemed for resources once the event ends. You will receive Remaining Points (RP) X 500 in Helium-3, RP X 500 in Mineral, and RP X 200 in Antimatter. For a calculator, you can use the link here that someone built: CLICK ME
Please Note: You will only receive resources for the points you have left AFTER redeeming. If you attempt to collect resources without redeeming a prize in the tiers below your score, then you will be forced to redeem all those available if you do not already have them!

How To Do It?
Points are earned through killing the various VEGA, VSEC, Crafting, or Sector Activity fleets which pop up in sector. Unlike during Feature Events (Click Here), no special fleets are spawned during RIOTs and players must simply kill the regular fleets which spawn at an increased rate.
There are two primary ways to earn points during RIOTs. If a late-game player, the best way is to kill Level 60 Raiders which offer 56,210 Points a kill. If during the early-game, most players will either use automatic fleets on 27s in-planet for all their points, or do a hybrid of sending fleets automatically while piloting a manual build on a high level VEGA or VSEC. As such, you are highly encouraged to check out the VEGA, VSEC, or Pre-40 Crafting Farming Builds for Automatic, Semi-Automatic, or Manual builds which you can use to successfully complete the RIOT! Sector Activity fleets also offer points but unless hunting crafting parts are not recommended to hunt for RIOT points due to difficulty.

The hardest part of a RIOT may be getting enough points, but knowing what to pick with those options isn't the easiest either! The best advice would be to ask an Officer or Experienced Player in-game on what to get, but should you be unable to reach one by the time the Event Store ends (24 Hours after Event finishes), there is generally a golden rule:
If the choice is between a Ship Weapon and a Base Weapon then for Tier 1: Get the Ship Weapon, for Tier 2: Get the Ship Weapon, and for Tier 3: Get the Base Weapon!
The reasoning for this is that Base Weapons are only useful in the late-game at Tier 3, meanwhile Ship Weapons can be constantly used at Tier 1 & Tier 2. That isn't to say you won't ever use a Tier 3 Ship Weapon, but you won't ever use a Tier 1 & Tier 2 Base Weapon at higher levels..

The best way to ensure success is to properly split your time while being aware of how long it will take to get. Keep in mind that although the Arcadia Federation will always try to ensure a safe environment for our players to do an event, that isn't always possible and RIOTs are not a Top Priority in the same way that Feature Events are (A very good reason to always try and get prizes during the Feature Events if possible!). With that said, always make sure to ask your Officers about our current war-status prior to events so you are prepared of potential dangers. Regardless of our status however, you should always be watching the map for fighting in order to get your fleets to safety before they are killed! If there's fighting and you are farming you will be left to die and Officers are going to get super pissed off at you!
If you have the time, the fleets, and are paying attention you should be all set to get the Top RIOT Prize. Keep in mind that the use of any 3rd-Party Programs or forms of Hacking are not allowed by the Kixeye TOS and if the Arcadia Federation catches you using them we will gladly report you ourselves and get you banned for it - Cheating isn't allowed under any circumstances! We wish you the best of luck on succeeding in the RIOT, if you have any further questions feel free to ask an Officer In-Game or on LINE!
